E85: Are My Tanks Compatible?

According to our database of post repair reports, we have found that there are many existing underground storage tanks, such as older fiberglass composite and internally lined steel tanks that do NOT meet compatibility standards for some new gasoline additives as well as ethanol based fuels with as low as 10% by volume. We all agree that these vessels need immediate attention.

Second category vessels have compatible isotallic resins or internal linings, but if subjected to E85, resistance ratings are only 30% -50% tolerant against ethanol based fuels.
